People who devote themselves to Economic Development projects are near and dear to our hearts.  Most work tirelessly in their communities to both retain and create primary jobs.  They find time even in their busy schedules to volunteer for various boards and ED committees for the benefit of the community.

 Greg and I attended the EDCC, Economic Development Council of Colorado 2008 Spring Conference in Burlington Colorado.  We were delighted to see the progress Burlington is making in growing their community.  America’s heartland has seen small towns shrinking and drying up all together.  This is not the case in Burlington.  It looks like they are building, growing and thriving!

Incognito Marketing today announced that it has been hired by BB Countertops and Cabinets for general marketing services and to update their Website to match their new lean manufacturing approach.

BB Countertops and Cabinets manufactures custom laminate countertops in Colorado Springs in its new state-of-the-art 18,000 square foot manufacturing facility. The companies will work together to develop marketing programs to support BB Countertops’ “New Face, New Place” efforts to position the company for growth during these challenging times.

“We were referred to Incognito Marketing by a lean manufacturing consultant we hired,” said Clarke Coons, sales and marketing manager for BB Countertops and Cabinets. “They immediately understood what we were trying to accomplish and I was confident they would be able to help shift our Website to be more customer centric.”

“BB Countertops and Cabinets is in the process of remaking the business in order to better service customers and more effectively compete. An important part of any successful business strategy, especially during times of change, is to effectively communicate the company’s message to customers and potential customers,” commented Greg Snyder, president and CEO of Incognito Marketing. “We are very pleased to be helping BB Countertops through their transition and extend their lean manufacturing approach to their marketing efforts.”

To date, Incognito Marketing has completed the new Website and is now working on a marketing plan. “During the migration from the old Website to the new one, several customers commented that the new site was so much easier to work with, which is in keeping with our lean manufacturing migration,” Coons added.

Incognito Marketing today announced that it has been hired by Pikes Peak Plastics for general marketing services and to create branding campaigns to help drive sales.

Pikes Peak Plastics is a full-service injection molding manufacturing company based in Colorado Springs. The companies will work together to clarify Pikes Peak Plastic’s story, build the existing customer base, broaden their market, and grow the business.

“We heard Greg Snyder speak at the May Manufacturing Task Force meeting on the subject of lean marketing for manufacturers and were impressed,” according to Silvia Maynard Pikes Peak Plastic’s administration manager. “The concepts he discussed sounded like a good fit for our organization so we contacted them.”

“Pikes Peak Plastics is another great example of a local manufacturing company that will benefit from marketing their products in order to compete on an international stage, and to sustain and grow their business,” said Greg Snyder, president and CEO of Incognito Marketing. “Our strength lies in helping customers craft their story and we are looking forward to telling Pikes Peak Plastics’ story.”

Incognito Marketing today announced that it has been hired by ASC Global Technologies for marketing services in order to better position the company for growth. ASC Global Technologies is a Colorado Springs-based technology consulting company.

ASC Global Technologies competes with many large companies world-wide. They needed to be able to differentiate themselves from their competitors and create the right image in the market.

“During the review process we saw a sample of the Web sites Incognito Marketing had created and was drawn to the uniqueness of their designs,” according to Tom Cimino, Chief Marketing Officer with ASC Global Technologies. “We were impressed by Incognito Marketing’s professionalism and business acumen which was different than many web developers we have encountered.”

Our country was built on manufacturing. Manufacturing jobs are vital to our standard of living. Each job in manufacturing creates 7 additional jobs, while a professional services job creates 3 or 4 (good but not as many). We need to build stuff! (more…)

Incognito Marketing today announced that the Incognito Marketing Scholarship for the purpose of supporting manufacturing related education has been awarded to a student at Pueblo Community College (PCC).

One of the challenges facing the industry is maintaining a strong pool of talent to fill future jobs.
